Wouldn’t it nice if what you saw online was the real thing

Okay wouldn’t it really be nice if what and who you see online really were the real deal. That what they looked like was not a photo taken before they got big gray and fugdugly, but still looked hot. That all those gals that just want to be YOUR FRIEND, on Facebook wanted maybe to be more? That every gal who contacted you online truly, wanted YOU?

How about those dating sites? They all claim they will make your dating and social life better and more streamlined. Thing is when you do sign up you find a whole pasture of ten ton Tessie's that truly should be put out to pasture. Then they could graze until they fall over from the bloat..

How about products? Those just gotta have $20.00 plus $10.00 S&H products, are pretty much only worth $10.00 and the who makes them ought to pay for the shipping.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I think the web has a lot going for it 40% of the traffic for both WyldAyre and HazzardAyre Radio comes from our web streams when it works right, but we make dang good money off the web, the reason is our products and services are what we claim, no more, no less. We can deliver what we claim, ALL the time. But I wonder outside of pure greed why people suck up offers like these like a Hoover on sand.

Granted we as consumers are always looking for bargains, a sale, special % off sale, you dang right. If I can get something from a brick and mortar retailer online for a certain % off I’m in. But the old adage of if it sounds too good to be, it most likely is. But not always. Some solid Dick Tracey work might be needed, but there are grass roots  innovators who don’t have big neon lit marques but can deliver a lot of specialty products and services, that giants can’t. The thing is look for small or medium start ups, that are willing to work with your firm, while you spoon feed and hand hold them as they grow. This can be the threshold of a long term courtship and relationship that can turn gold.

Case n point, and oh yes still looking. Seems as in Idaho and that includes both Boise and Pocatello, only one gal in all of Idaho for a reasonable fee, can build our web site. Her problem is our lady eye candy. But at least she can build it. Right now, I’d love to find somebody in the weeds just starting to work with them to build our site, so that we could have a source a one source for all our IT and web build needs, considering we are looking beyond just radio but an IPTV station that will be the usual in 10 years. Hey people are getting on board with IPTV, two channel line ups come to mind. One is Rabbit TV the other SkyAngel, Sky Angel is more church, less secular drama channels, Rabbit TV amongst others. Rabbit TV organizes IPTV into groupings so you can gain access to the online streams from major cable and satellite networks. Sorry Idaho has little in the way of IPTV streams. KMVT had it for their news but decided to can it as it was not economical for them to continue. But what about a channel dedicated to IPTV, in Idaho? Here in Twin Falls? More over a both OTA(Over The Air) and Streaming at the same time station such as KDXB/KDOH(HazzardAyre/WyldAyre). Those are items for another time but they reasons I’m always looking for partners. Hey I’m a aviation mechanic with a GED that served in the Marines that has a towing service. Sure I know the in front of the mic and studio stuff, but HTML and all that, heck HTML, could mean Hot Tamale for as much as I know.

While I’m trying to build a relationship with a couple of fellers at the River, who knows this stuff its an extended relationship, so finding people that will step up to the plate as well as the mic. But I’m getting off course here.

I’d like to find just 5 of the gals that invite me to be friends on Facebook, that first were truly from THIS area, even 45 miles away even to Boise, that I could really meet.

All those offers from so many , the real safety gig here for them and maybe me, is that 60% or better are what 2000 miles away, its good to be friends because the chance of truly seeing one of them at the Depot for coffee, is a quadrillion to one. A few years ago, Yahoo, had the right idea, they regionalized their friends lists and chat rooms. People you met , were truly within the area YOU were.

Yahoo got rid of chat rooms due to safety and other liabilities, same went for MSN, if you want to chat or such there ya’ll got to pay for it. This does several things, first removes MSN(Microsoft) from and criminal liability in case its some retard trying to get a prey for getting his jollies off, and two should something happen, at least there’s albeit small but a paper trail to the perp.

I just want things to be real, honest, and what they say they is, to be what they is.

At this point still wondering if I should go on this mens getaway that the River Fellowship is doing this weekend. Not that I’m still so tweaked at a few that still just patronized me Wednesday, but weather. According to all reports, its not only going to be wet, but snow. That ain’t camping, or fellowshipping that’s just getting all too many male corpuscles to get sick from flu and colds. Plus I’m broke until Monday, and have a brake master cylinder thing I have to do for another true angel that I met here that is the true meaning of the word, Gods Angel. Plus there’s nobody to cover me on air here. Let ya’ll know about 13:00 today.

In closing, in these days of serious crap online, couldn’t the major players like Google, Facebook, MSN, Yahoo amongst others require proof of their postings before they allow ads to be posted?

The adage shop at home really does, mean a lot at least at home you know who you bought from and what you got.

Newly wed doubts

So , I’m on my way out to go do the weekly Wednesday church thing, and a gal who I’ve been ratchetjawing with out of MH, on Facebook calls, wants to have java. No biggy so I invite her to Church. Tell her how to get there,. So I left.

Got there and felt like a pimp inside a nuns camp. I mean really , while its still in many ways like the second and third thoughts one gets after getting hitched, it should have subsided by now. is this God quietly speaking to me saying, don’t go there?

Not that I’d trade the few friendships I have made there for anything, but I’m starting to think, maybe going after setting up the Church of Confederate Star is more urgent than I had anticipated.

Then the sweet gal, who does my laundry from church and all, her little daughter AJ, comes up and because I would tend to her as I was trying to chat with the pastor comes and kicks me in the shin, I thought, nothing of it, but to an adult, who she don’t know very well, very disrespectful. No big deal, so I let it pass. I can tell you this, and I might be standing in line, but if this gals mom weren’t already deeply involved and building on rebuilding the once torn relationship. I’d dive in on her like a Corsair on a Jap zero. But hey a good lady friend none the less, but I did find myself growling a bit at the guy trying to squeeze in there. Women don’t always see this another guy much wiser does. A Poser? Perhaps. Stay tuned on that one.

So got home, directed the lady friend over cell to the Depot, had coffee, ideologically speaking we differ but a nice people, she want to set up a MC Trike shop. Under the right conditions that wouldn’t be a bad thing for the club to get involved in. Only real condition as it is, would be me moving to MHI(Mountain-Home-Idaho) and there is no damn way I’m doing that. Even if Selena Gomez invited me to a party there with her being naked would I ever, ever, go to Mountain Home. Even if God told me to go to Mountain Home, I still wouldn’t go to Mountain Home, I’d rather burn in hell, and from what I went through there, there ain’t much difference in hell and Mountain Home.

So got home, here to the Wolf’s Lair, broke as a skunk, until Friday. I usually get some money from Big C on Wednesday’s but by the time I got in from going to Utah Wednesday morning even though I wanted to go to sleep, I got in just in time to shower, change clothes grab bible, reading glass’s and head out. So I never made to the office, so no pay until Friday.

Then find out from the rascals organizing this men's getaway, that one needs a sleeping bag, and so on. Couldn’t they have put a needs list on the back or attached to the sign up sheet for this thing? So you’d know what to bring? I’m starting to think that the River Fellowship Church thing is Mormons without suits & Ties. And serves coffee. Not much else is different , but I could be wrong. Going to stick with them a while longer, but second thinking this getaway thing.

With that in mind and no one to sub for me on air here, staying home and getting things done this weekend might be the right thing to do, let ya’ll know about mid day Friday.

Oh for those that walk blind

There are times that I’d like to grab some people that you know have talent, yet will not look at the light for the forest.

Case n point, a great looking quite intelligent gal shows for an interview last weekend near midnight.

Granted I didn’t do much on air that night as I spent my time talking to her.

Day after she decides to bail. Okay fine. The question is why? What better does she have. Her reason for bailing is the setting the studio and all is in, quite frankly even if it were in a fancy office place would that make a difference? I mean look at the fiasco in Evanston when I took the radio gig out of the shop into a secondary office of all things a foot doctor. Ya’ll know the results of that, $100,000.00 and nose candy bar gal and boyfriend make off with gear, and threads even my underwear. Why? Had to go recover a bus, that went through to the second sister just east of Evanston. I go, so did my gear. Lota good that fancy office did. Same kind of thing, happened in Gooding , nice office that the heat never worked in and whose foundation was on a sink hole, but hey cosmetics right, public and especially women, feel more at ease in an office. What ever happened to just trusting someone?

Now true I’d like to have a fancy studio in twin, and when and if I find 6 gals, 4 for the week, 2 for weekend, trained, skills polished , and after a two month lets make sure period, you damn well bet we’ll be in a fancy place, one is being negotiated anyway, right next to Anchors, the owner is not yet back from his savatical, so I wait. She who trains with us now in house gets job in a month or two in fancy studio tomorrow. That simple.

Up to this point however and I’m still shakey on it, that I didn’t get another facility is why? Here at the house, the mini board is here, studio connections here, everything's here. Something goes sour even on my off air hours, I can jump up, fix the problem, and its done. The reason Confederate Steele has done as well as it has even in an economic slump, when other smaller broadcast operations have folded is not to spend un-needed. We already pat $250.00 a month in rent and power in Buhl. As soon as something good opens up housing wise over there, so there will I be. Which is why I’d like to train somebody here now in Twin, so she could take over here when I relocate by this fall or so, but there are all too many who walk blind, that have been abused somehow, in life,work or both. Then there is the fear of the nasty.

Okay our guys are bikers with wings, yes our hair is long, and no we do not walk around with an Elder pin on our suit. But I challenge anyone, anywhere to find someone or a firm that is kinder or more open minded, likewise flexible to off hours, needing time away and just plain morally square. Yet one gal is still looking for work, her financial needs are serious. The fact that if she’s adopted by the FC(Flight-Club) like another has been , needs are met, things are taken care of and life gets better. But hey she’s her.

Then there’s the gal, who came whose mom or grand mom  manages the local Arby’s here. Now several things happen here. One the club members, their family’s will never eat there again and boycott the facility, two she looses a career opportunity not just a job, and 3 all respect for another gal, who thinks her virtue, will be somehow be violated.

Perhaps if we just became a Disney Radio station, heck might as well, its already a dang zoo here.

What can I say, both reputations and memories of old are never forgotten, even though we are taught to forgive as Jesus and God would do, we sadly as humans don’t.

But like many, and I’ll bet you, your next annual inspection, the hour that strikes that KDXB fires full strength, those who turned their backs will be the first looking in wanting to then become part. The answer will be , we’ll call you back.

That call may never come.

Hollywierd keeps trying

Hollywierd keeps trying.

I gleaned from some early morning cyber flying that some of the old production staff of Airwolf is going after making a documentary on the old mid 80’s TV show that is our groups name sake, and my in air call sign. But here’s my thought, with so many of these FoX and other networks screwing the pooch on series, especially this past year, instead of just a documentary, how about doing up a pilot episode of the old show with a new cast, and pitch it to some networks. Like say do Airwolf in the same concept as Sons of Anarchy and pitch it to FX.

By the same flight plan, there was always going to be a full length movie on the VMF214 BlackSheep, that was to star Robert Mitchum, thing never did really gain any altitude with any of the major studios in Hollywierd.

But why stop? Why not build that and pitch the idea to a movie studio today? A real life not hero, as Pappy said, Show me a hero and I’ll prove he’s a bum, but telling the true story of the 214, not just Pappy’s would be a barn burner of a movie.

After all look at what’s going on around you. Hollywierd has been remaking series into both movies and updates since the Writers strike of 2007. That strike stopped a lot of the film industries creativity and momentum. But there have been some great pictures since. JJ Abrams reworking of Star Trek for instance. Now that the movie is a hit and its sequel due out soon if not already, why not do the movie into a series?

I was reading how many series got the axe this past season, its humorous on one hand, and not surprising on the other. Lets give the people what they want. Military film enthusiasts and there are more than you think, and us into flying would fly to a theater, just to see the movie on the BlackSheep as well as a full movie of Airwolf, more over I’d get cable from Cable One, again, if I heard Airwolf was coming back on.

Which brings me to a thing on loyalty.

Loyalty is a fading commodity, just because you gain loyalty once does not mean it will stay, especially if that loyalty is tarnished by simple acts of promises made but not kept, or by an insult. In life a waitress that you see everyday for coffee, says she’ll call but never does, or at a bar or club, you go in , pitch an idea she says great I’ll call, but then has excuse after excuse.

In films and TV, fan pages on social sites etc are great, even if you have personally known the cast , just a few times on the ignore button, and a fan, that buys the dvd, or a cd, don’t buy no more.

I met one in late March that lives up to my loyalty she called, got songs and assistance and I’m a fan as well as supporter for life. However over at the DOH camp, there is no return emails, or phone calls, even if it is that such an event as DukesFest will put money and renewed fame back in their pockets. While I do have now for me and HazzardAyre/WyldAyre a publicist, still every fan letter , every correspondence I do myself. Because you are why I do what I do. If it was not for you , there’d be no need .

If Hollywierd wants more income, stars want more paying projects, and bigger box office draws, then Hollywierd needs to re-earn our loyalties.

That means looking into their hardened skulls, and making the kinds of films we all need and want.

But you have to give em credit sort of in that at least, Hollywierd Keeps Trying.

Fear of the unknowing

I had the most awkward exchange on Facebook, awhile ago as I put WyldAyre Radio in the hangar for the nyte.

The thing went as a few of those there on Facebook, that are of the opposite gender, sure must want to cuddle up with me or something. Really? I never ever have looked at it that way, and quite frankly, never would. The people that you meet online , not all but many are a front. Much of what hey claim to be is 10% real, the rest inflated. Why who knows? But the bottom line is, just because somebody buddies up with you on Facebook or any other social site, is not going to sleep with you. And even if one surprisingly did want to. Its not in Gods eyes to do so, from the sin of adultery to the sin of fornication, no way for me. Thinking that some gal is warming up to hit the home run on such sites is at best a dream, like I see Selena Gomez online telling me about her next concert date, that don’t mean Justin Beaver is going to get kicked to the curb and Selena is going to show up here at the Wolf’s Lair.

The free sex movement though that many of us enjoyed in the late 1960’s, 70’s, and mid 80’s is gone. Gone by mostly the fears of STD’s. Not thinking of the big deal, pregnancy.

I hear both in church and out of it and seen it on display way too much, are stories of unwed or nearly so, with babies from drug sex, and unbridled passion.

Oh sure I myself like a quick romp in the sack once in awhile, but since I lost Jan, mostly due to infidelity, it taught me that until there’s a ring on the finger, there ain’t going to be anything else cept maybe a hug.

No way, if I need my jollies fulfilled , it’s a gallon of oil, full tank of fuel, and $200.00 or so in my pocket. Then round trip to Wells Nevada to Miss Donna’s. No harm no foul. Beyond that this Harley ain’t getting ridden.

Yes she looks good, standing there in her hot shorts, boots and tank top. All that lip gloss, and war paint. But at the end of the evening, despite Hollywierds depictions, her breath is going to smell like a septic tank, and all that eye make up is going to make her look like a raccoon, next morning. If she’s sick with a hangover, are you going to stand there holding her hair back while she hurls?

Next time you looking to drop that tool in there for fun , look at her very carefully, think of her bald headed, with a baby in the oven, bet you reconsider and just buy another beer and watch NASCAR, you’ll be better off. God will be pleased with you as well.

Any mile duty will be calling in 4 hours so catching needed z’s.

Finally the end of yet another Maniac Monday

Ever start to thinking, hey I could do this better?

Example; while no where near the facility, still I’m beginning to reconsider my entire involvement with the River Fellowship. Lets face it outside of what 6 people there, I have felt like I’m in front of people that resemble deer when the headlights hit them.

As much as I have extended my hand in service, its constantly slapped back, in a no thank you, we really don’t need your help. Kinda like a radio station that says it takes requests for music, but really has no intention of playing it.

I have offered to do any number of tasks, yet it seems as if no one is listening. Is it my aggressive attitude? Perhaps, is it that I am one of many who love Jesus, but are tired of posers and poser organizations? Perhaps that too.

Now it’s no secret that we have been working on establishing the Church of Confederate Star. But that may still take some time.

Feeling the power and love of God is one thing, but sitting in amongst people outside of a select few, just patronizing me, is not something I relish. Patronizing me is a form of judgment, likewise trying to find fault is also a form of judgment. There is only two entities that can make judgments, God, and his son, Jesus Christ.

Want another example? Here’s one; of the majority of the congregation, of the River Fellowship, maybe 4 there have or really watch the churches own TV stations. If you tell them about what Todd Friel, of Wretched TV said, you’ll get the dumbest look as if, who?

I have a very close friend that went to the River during the time of his engagement to his current wife. His mother-in-law, is a devout member of the congregation, and does prayer duty. But guess what my friend will not go again. Why? In his view was the River is to pretentious and too snobbish. How many others go there that get that same feeling? This is no way to not only attract but to retain those wanting to have a closer walk with God.

Why is this? Why will the Pastors not address this? To protect the few in the flock, that might be offended.

What happened to the social functions at the River? When I started going there was a dinner at least every other week, this would be a way outside of services to allow others to get to know each other, of both genders.

This weekend , there’s supposed to be a Men’s getaway, near McCall, Idaho. I pledged I’d go, still might. But here’s my problem, is this going to help? or just alienate more so I’ll never go to the River again?

Again it would look like the only church, to go to, will be the Church of Confederate Star, that is on the verge of being founded by who else? The Knytes-of-Anarchy/AyreWolvez-Wynged Warriors.

The question then becomes like just about everything else, why is always the Knytes and/or the AyreWolvez?

Must we do everything?

A little bit of this, a little bit of that but which one will you choose?

It’s finally cooling off, can’t imagine I’d be saying that after the deep freeze wet spring, but Summer or warm is here finally.

As such getting in the mood groove to go on air, l8r 2nyte so I was looking over the Internet, for stuff to ratchet jaw on and saw this one on of Stocking Girls page>> this is well below Stocking Girls quality, and I’ve been following them for years now. Mostly because they have pics that I can scalp, for my own graphics. Hey if ya’ll can’t find em locally you pirate where you can. So then got to scanning Yahoo. saw a thing up with some of the hot trucks of the previous years. Looks like trucks, especially vintage hot rod trucks are making a comeback, more on that in a few clicks. So then there was a article on hot outfits from some Hollywierd gig, that said this was hot>>Naw that ain’t hot, no nylons, no heels with style, just yuck, and I politely told em so in the comments file. So what is hot?

Kinda what we look for in our talent searches. Which I wish was not so drawn out. What I would give for the ability like we had in Utah, when we fired AyreWolfFM up. One call to an agency, in Provo Utah, six gals show up, pics taken air checks done them paid out the door.

People have asked me why I fight for Idaho like I do, since in many ways I could ball up the state and put Idaho in a trash can, if I had the ability to.

Reason, outside of the treasured times in the south where my Uncle Robert lives in Macon, Georgia, my Uncle Bill in Conyers GA, I sadly was raised in a split between Utah and Idaho. Of those two I was sadly born in Idaho.

I saw what could happen in this valley in the 1970’s and 80’s when folks put down their clickish, territorial ways and work together. I saw a 1975 CB/truckers Jamboree in Filer attract nearly 100,000 people, including cops on the CB, SAR outfits who used CB, plus my biker bro’s , air bro’s it was one big 4 day 3 night gig that was stupendous. If you couldn’t get laid in the area at that event , you really were queer.

We had people from Canada, Australia, all over. I met many, got what we called wallpaper, or QSL cards and we all had one thing in common, good old CB.

That’s just an example, of what a small group called the TeenAge Truckers Association , Now the United American, Independent Truckers Association that is the parent organization of both the Knytes-of-Anarchy and us in the AyreWolvez/Wynged Warriors, can do.

Back then of course finding sweet hiney for pictorials wasn’t no big deal, as so many were not running around scared. Today it’s a concern. But why then is there not an agency or resource in our area for just that, talent for commercials and video photography? Make my life much easier. Then I’d not have to put ads on CraigsList, open my house, risk getting arrested and so on, I could just call the agency, get some head shots, pic a few get the job done, pay the agency no problem.

Same goes for our radio gig.

I’d love to have a local course on even broadcast basics, this would provide a pool of on air talent , not just for us, but every radio station in the area. But what do I get? Mucho crap from CSI, and others.

Look its not to build our area to be something its not or will be. I’d just like to see Twin Falls and even the area, step up to the plate, and become something to be known for besides, a Yogurt plant, and taters.

Hey it’s my state, my region, and the secondary purpose of the AyreWolvez is to make our communities better, I want to start with mine, Twin Falls.

A great day in the air

Any time I get the chance to fly, I’m there.

Thus it was this morning at 07”00(7:00 AM ) I got a call from a pal that was rolling south in a Bell Jet Ranger, would I like to fly back up and bring him home?

Does a bear go in the woods?

So Don, picks me up at 08:00 and out to the Twin Falls Airport, and on our way to Arizona.

We had great weather going down, no real wind to speak of except for an advisory, from NOAA we flew without even a single pocket. Two stop and fuels and in Yuma we were. Now for a BlackSheep, going to Arizona, is one thing, going to the Sheep’s pen at MCAS in Yuma, well can’t not. So had lunch there. It was great visiting with other Marine aviators as well as fellow BlackSheep.

We touched down, at 16:00(4:00PM) at TFAP and now while refreshed on one hand, am tired as well.

So tired , I ain’t rolling over to the Church tonight, I’m just too tyred and additionally don’t know if that’s really where I need to be.

Oh I’m going to regular church, on Sunday’s and all , but I’m not as easy with the thoughts of sitting around a table, going through the same bible chapter again, the hearing how bad life is for people.

Hey I’m God’s servant yes, no doubt. I love Jesus beyond measure, but while I love the friendship with a few there including a lady friend or two of mine, I can get a hold of her by phone, email or personal visit, but, planting my fanny in a uncomfortable chair, for two hours hearing nothing but boo-hoo’s, naw ain’t for me. If I’m going to hear boo-hoo’s I want to hear it from returning and resident veterans, here that need a grouping.

When I got told that there was little room for that last night by a certain pastor, lets say my affections for the River Fellowship kind of cooled.

What do you mean there is no room for a veteran’s group at the River? Men and women that have seen, felt, and experienced things civilians will never feel , see, or experience, that could really use the fellowship and Gods, gifts and love, are being told a maybe?

What to do? As always, The AyreWolvez will begin a Veterans, Fellowship, in June, location being determined.

So its came down to this has it?

I’m not one always thinking that we here at Confederate Steele Media, the AyreWolvez or the Knytes-of-Anarchy are superior to anyone, or anything. As to do so is a form of Idolatry. Its worshiping ourselves rather than God. Yet I often think as well, has our group been overly blessed? Have we started to be that one flicker of light that is to illuminate the path of so many to draw near to our lord? Is it us that is to carve out the path to which Jesus will return to earth on?

There’s an old joke in military circles that goes, if its being done right its not being done by todays military officials, (mainly the Army) but that said, I’m starting to think that all is bubbling over into civilian society. Have we became stupid, as a population? Did Osama Bin Laden win after all? Think about it, since 9-11 , most have buried their heads in the sand, and will not step out to recover anything, including our economy. Terrorists are blowing this nation up one incident at a time, we are in serious doo-doo.

Yet the one sector of our population that does have it together, the rest of this yankee union, ignores or snubs. Even in church.

Ask yourself this question , and ask it to yourself honestly, who do you trust more in relating the words of God, more, any preacher, or one with a southern accent? Most would say the southern accent. Reason, few if any group of believers are more dedicated to our knowledge and trust in God and Jesus than us with southern confederate roots. For us of the south, its not just a casual belief, or something we do on Sunday (more on that in a few clicks) to impress our neighbors, or to make a deal to further our own gain or agenda. We go to church to immerse ourselves in Gods word, and learn more of him. But I’ll shy away from this for a few clicks.

Thing is I searched for a publication called Broadcast News. BN used to be as I find, a publication for us in broadcasting both TV and radio.

What did I find, sorry this site is for sale. My only conclusion is that BN either withdrew from online editions or folded.

What does this mean that the Knytes and/or AyreWolvez(Wynged Warriors Association) have to republish this. The question becomes why always us, has the rest of the USA Population gotten chicken?

I understand that the economy is the shyts. Wages down , employment all but none existent although if one wants a job, there are jobs, just many don’t want to work. Either with their brain or body. I have a church friend that came to me one night after a bible study group. Wanted to get into radio. I told her the main studios, are in Buhl, she has no way to drive there, so I said I could give her instructions from my mini studio here at the house, help her develop basic radio skills. This would be a good job for her on a part time basis. She could do radio skills, for a few hours a day or every other day. Understand I did not solicit her to be here , she wanted to be here. To date, she don’t even come over. If its something you want you make the effort.

In my early days of radio, I’d pedal my butt from Hazzard(Hagerman) 36 miles one way, on a bicycle to do free none paid internship at KEEP AM 1450. I’d move sprinkler pipe for 12 cents a pipe, to earn gas to come over to do production assistant at KLIX, why? Because I wanted in to radio. I thirsted for it. I lived it. I took a bus to Boise to do the rounds of Boise’ big stations to learn from the best. I wanted this, then of course the club came in, but I had acquired enough skills that I could put our own station up. That you know the history of, what it boils down to if its something you want bad enough you do it. And I’m now busting hump to learn TV. Could that mean I gotta move again to learn that? Perhaps, but again if its something ya’ll want you go after it. God only gives us so many hand outs, after awhile he expects us to till the soil to plant a seed and grow the crop.

There are jobs, this is still the best darn nation on earth, the knowledge of if you want it, you work hard enough for it, you’ll get it. Is ingrained in every southern nation kids brain. Confederates do not retreat, we go after it. Too bad more people don’t. No matter what else there is, love of God, prayer and knowing if its Gods will, the prayer will be answered. You can’t just believe, you have to know. Its called faith, and knowledge is putting that faith into action not just thinking God is just going to sprinkle magic dust and BOOM it happens. As it says in the bible, If a man does not work, he don’t eat, in God, if you just believe it ain’t much you have to work at it, and know, not just believe.

All I ask though, if its something being done right, depend on the Knytes-of-Anarchy to be doing it right and that includes us here in the AyreWolvez/Wynged Warriors.

The Fryday Nyte Flyte

It’s another Fryday nyte and I’m insyde your radio and your out having fun, or doing some sort of activity.

My problem is I work on my behind, keeping you in tunes and all I seem to get is prunes.

I’d die shit bricks if just once someone came to the studio/house here with cookies, maybe or at least something eatable.

In the gold age of radio, it was customary not to ask that kind of question. Since if one did, it could start a stampede.

I can remember one night at then KEEP AM 1450, the only top 40 station here in Twin Falls, I was doing studio production, a dear friend Mike Arms was on air. No news man , so I subbed and did the newscast as Mike had allergy sniffles. At the end of the sports report, I joked about the Twin Falls High Cheerleaders ought to bring out some cookies, since they were doing some sort of fund raiser and we ought to be able to sample some. Within about two hours, there came a knock on the back door, and there was cookies, cup cakes. Mike and I swallered I bet 4 galleons of hundred mile sea(coffee), along with those cookies. But they was good.

Same thing happened in about the same way, over at KLIX when I was there one Friday night. Pete Arbogaust was on air, I was doing the FM, and I mentioned I could use a pizza or two.

Pizza Hut had just came to town and we had pizza and brew. I shit you not.

Today the Feds have it where broadcast facilities especially studios are supposed to be secured. No entry by the public without prior permission from station management and all that. Reasoning is so someone can’t gain control of the station for some terrorist thing.

This started after that gal in Utah held KSL in a freeze mode , after that it was like working in Fort Knox.

Took the personality and fun out of radio.

At least for some, one of the things about us at HazzardAyre/WyldAyre is that our doors are always open, we invite everybody and anybody in, lets have fun.

Okay then before I get back on air here, wanted to pass this on.
